Travel to Baltic states

Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia – three Baltic counties located on the coast of scenic Baltic sea. They may be small, but they are definitely worth a visit. Start your trip by visiting the capitals of Baltics – Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius. All three capitals are on the UNESCO’s world heritage list. Enjoy the walk through the old towns cobblestone covered streets and feel the medieval charm of these cities. Try authentic local food, buy handcrafts in local markets, go on a sightseeing tour, visit a SPA or enjoy the vibrant night life– the options are unlimited!

If you are staying more than few days, we suggest to go outside the city, where you’ll find untouched landscapes, castles as if they are right from fairy tales, magical forests, small romantic towns. Take a tour with a car, train or by bus, the distance between points of interest is not the biggest, so it is very easy to travel from one place to another.

Estonia

Estonia’s capital Tallinn is best preserved medieval city in north of Europe. Estonia has more than 2000 islands, take a tour and see at least one of them! Saaremaa is the largest island and the most visited one, you can find plenty of attractions in here – majestic lighthouses, rocky coastline, hiking trails, capital Kuresaare, Kaali meteorite crater and many other. Also it is wort a visit Matsalu national park, which is one of Europe's best bird-watching destinations. So, don’t forget your binocular, if going there!

Latvia

The capital Riga is best known as the Art Nouveau capital of the world. Art Noveau district in Riga is central located and a good place for a long walk and plenty of beautiful photos for your Instagram profile.
Latvia is one of greenest countries in Europe, so to experience Latvia, you should visit Gauja National park, where you can enjoy miles of beautiful hiking trails and soak up fresh air and stunning views that this park has to offer.
Latvia has almost 500 km long coastline, mostly they are white, sandy beaches. To see them, visit Jurmala, most popular sea resort in Latvia. But if you want more tranquil experience – visit small fishing villages or go on a walking tour along the Baltic sea.

Lithuania

Top places to visit in Lithuania includes: Vilnius old town, Curonian Spit, Trakai, Druskininkai, Hill of Crosses. Couronian Spit is almost 100 km long sandy peninsula, that is formed by sea and wind. You can reach it easily with a short boat ride from Klaipeda.
If you want to relax, go to Druskininkai – the SPA town close to borders of Poland and Belarus. The resort is built around springs, that many people believe have healing powers.

How to get there?

You can travel to Baltic countries in several ways – by plane, by ferry or by your own car.

The fastest way to travel to Baltic countries is by air. Main airports are – Riga, Vilnius, Kaunas, Tallinn or Helsinki. From Helsinki you can easily reach Tallinn using ferry and the trip will take only 2 hours.
Currency in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania is euro.
